    As is typically the case, this is at once less elegant, riper and more deeply pitched with its blend of earthy wild dark currant and violet scents. The medium weight flavors though are finer than usual, though not nearly as refined as those of the Ile de Vergelesses, all wrapped in a mildly rustic and warm finale. Moderate patience suggested.
