Chambolle Musigny 2016

A brooding and closed nose reluctantly gives up its aromas of dark cherry, spice and a hint of rose petal. The mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors is very Chambolle in style with its lightly mineral-inflected and saline elements though there is a trace of rusticity on the impressively long finish. This too will need at least a few years of bottle aging first as it's presently quite firm.
