Morey Saint Denis 2019

A very ripe nose displays liqueur-like aromas of cassis, black raspberry, plum and a whiff of wood toast. The lavishly rich medium weight flavors possess impressive mid-palate density that coats the palate with seductively sappy dry extract before terminating in a dusty, youthfully austere and reasonably long finish. This isn't as elegant and while it's not heavy, it lacks the same vibrancy.

Note: from a blend of 90% Clos Solon and the remainder from Très Girard
