Nuits-St. Georges 1er Cru "Aux Chaignots" 2019

Equally ripe aromas feature red and purple fruit, earth and an appealing range of spice elements. There is fine underlying tension to the sleekly textured and well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a balanced if decidedly linear bitter pit fruit inflected finish. A few years of aging should be beneficial in order to add some flesh to what is a slightly lean backend.
