Corton Les Paulands Grand Cru 2009
Almost invisible wood sets off a distinctly ripe red berry liqueur-like nose liberally laced with warm earth nuances that continue to characterize the generous and quite fleshy big-bodied flavors that are seductively textured, all wrapped in a robust and powerful if slightly rustic finish. I quite like this though the prominent tannins will require at least 15 years to fully resolve.
