Gilles Jayer, a relation of the famous Henri Jayer (a cousin of Gilles’ father Robert) was renowned for making very rich, concentrated, quite heavily-oaked style of Nuits-Saint-George and Echézeaux that took many years to come round.

Best known for his Echezeaux, Gilles has put the same amount of dedication into all his wines setting high standards in both red and white wines from the Hautes Cotes.
