The Dubost family Château was created in 1957 by Pâquerette and Yvon Dubost. The latter, a former mayor of Pomerol. Today, Laurent Dubost, their son, who graduated from the school of agriculture, manages the operation. Through his work and that of his team, he places the Chateaux Dubost wines in the forefront of their respective appellation: Chateau Lafleur du Roy Pomerol, Château Bossuet Bordeaux Supérieur, Château La Vallierè Lalande-de-Pomerol and Château Pâquerette in Bordeaux Blanc Sec.  The vineyard is not chemically weeded but worked regularly. Finally, in order to preserve the quality of the wines, the grapes are harvested manually with the stalk intact.
