Here the nose is clean and bright with its aromas of the cool essence of red currant, cherry, the sauvage and a pretty floral nuance. There is excellent punch to the nicely detailed and solidly powerful medium-bodied flavors that possess very good depth and persistence that evidences almost no rusticity. In the context of the appellation, this is a relatively refined example.
